In their 2nd joint event, digital signage networking group The Screen and HP are coming together on Wednesday 26th October 2011 to hold a morning briefing to be held at, and focusing on the retail digital signage revolution that is, Westfield Stratford City. In the shadow of the new Olympic stadiums, Europe's newest and largest urban shopping centre has arisen. Building on the ground breaking retail experience that was Westfield London. Westfield Stratford City now breaks new boundaries to showcase the very latest in digital retail and digital out of home communication techniques. With some of the largest outdoor LED displays in Europe, 100 digital advertising posters & almost 400 displays in videowalls around the vast building, Westfield Stratford City delivers huge new reach to digital advertisers. The 300 flagship retail outlets equally display the very latest in digital integration, across retail design, marketing and operations. Put together, Westfield Stratford City offers us a unique insight into the future of digital communications in retail for every high street and retail site in England. Digital Retailing: Olympic Scale will examine both retail and digital out-of-home environments. Attendees will have the chance to review specific retail examples, examining how digital is affecting everything from design to operations within a couple of key retailers within the Westfield Stratford City complex. Hearing directly from the key decision makers and examining the results by visiting onsite outlets. On the Digital-Out-Of-Home side, attendees will have the chance to tour the site with CBS Outdoor; learn the thinking behind their media strategy and uncover the technology and operational decisions that underpin the different implementations.
This unique HP inspired session will provide valuable insight into the opportunities for targeting customers with digital out-of-home, whilst offering ample time for networking and discussion of the points raised.
