Digital Perspective

2009 has been a tough year for the mainstream media market – but how will the digital signage segment look back on the impact of the credit crunch.

A period of industry shake-out and survival, or a year of grabbing market share from other traditional media. A year on hold, or a year when the digital out-of-home market finally came of age

Certainly the serious operators have consolidated their positions and grown their digital offerings; other European countries have begun to take up the challenge of building up their infrastructure; and whilst many brands have cut overall spending, digital has often been maintained.

The Screen Forum is holding an informal breakfast meeting on Tuesday 8th December to discuss these different visions of how the digital signage industry will come to view 2009.

The attendees will hear brief presentations and opinion from digital experts on the buying and the selling side, covering both the UK and wider markets. The session is designed to provide valuable insight with an opportunity to network and debate the topics raised.
