Six Degrees of Motion

How does content design, image motion and movement drive IMPACT in digital-out-of-home ? Is it different for retailers and advertising networks ? How do the content companies sell their services and what are retailers, brands and media buyers looking for and how do they measure its success?

Full screen, split screen, flash animation, video, landscape or portrait - what works and what doesn't in this new creative medium?

On Wednesday 14th July, The Screen Forum is to hold an informal breakfast meeting to look at the '6 Degrees Of Motion' (the scale devised by CBS to describe the animating steps from static posters to full moving video).

In an attempt to understand what makes digital signage content work - we will hear from retail and outdoor advertising creatives to understand the tricks they use, from the media sales teams on the creative and budgetary process, and from the buyers and clients as to what they want and what they like.

As ever, the session will be top-and-tailed with the best smoked salmon bagels in London and the opportunity to network and discuss the questions raised.
